alexander-grey-iSqO85JNVP8-unsplashHave you ever experienced the sheer satisfaction of effortlessly peeling an egg? It's one of life's little joys. Plus there's something oddly soothing about that silky smooth surface of a perfectly peeled egg, right!?

Do you want that feeling every time you peel a boiled egg? Well, I got you Mama!

Here are my quick tips to peeling boiled farm fresh eggs!

1. Tap the egg bottom (tik tok style!)

This tik tok hack actually works 😆 Take your spoon and gently tap the large round part of the egg until you hear a slight "crack". Don't hit it so hard that you open the egg! You're just tapping enough to break the egg white membrane away from the shell.

2. Wait for the water to get hot

Most people put their eggs in cold water and then heat it up. Let's not do that anymore. Wait for your water to get hot, not boiling, but you might see bubbles at the bottom. Then carefully drop your egg in.

This helps to start cooking the egg right away.

3. Ice bath time!

The ice bath is typically to get the egg to stop cooking in the middle, but it also helps to release the membrane from the shell. Just 3-5 minutes is typically plenty!

4. Start from the bottom

Always start peeling from the rounded bottom part of the egg, not the top. Be sure to get your fingers or spoon under the membrane of the egg to help it peel better.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
